Built-in computer use in Muse Code
The wish
Built-in computer use, off by default: observe then act, my owner approving each app first.
Muse Code 1.4.14 has no built-in computer use: no help entry, no tool to see the screen, click or type. The 1.4.10 changelog mentions a Computer Use improvement, but there is no documented way to turn it on in the CLI. The computer-use guide is API-only: model returns actions, developer supplies the driver. A hand-added third-party server works, but it is not built in.
Ship computer use as a native, documented CLI capability: observe-only first, acting only with per-app owner approval, everything logged.
Verification
Finding: Checked Muse Code 1.4.14 locally: version matches, help lists no computer use, screen, click or type entry. Docs overview describes a terminal coding agent with no computer use section. Changelog tops at 1.4.13 and its 1.4.10 note says Computer Use makes fewer tool calls, with no enable step. Computer use guide is Model API only: Responses endpoint, model returns actions, developer supplies driver, no Meta hosted desktop.
Still unknown: Did not test a hand-added third party computer use server, and did not check unreleased builds or desktop app behavior beyond the CLI and docs.
